Youth volleyball leagues run social grass volleyball games from May through til late August in Boyd Park.

Players need to be in 5th grade or older to participate in the league, otherwise they can play in the Friday night grass pickup league (years 18 and younger).

YVBA also offers a girl’s ‘high school power league’ at the Boston Sports Club, Wellesley. This is an indoor league which includes training sessions.

Boston UVC offer multiple programs for serious youth volleyballers, both boys and girls.

They offer teams from U10 up to U18 with training sessions starting from once a week up to 3 times per week for the more advanced teams.

These club teams compete in local, regional, and national tournaments.

Training sessions have a game focus, so although these are more competitive club teams and not leagues, there’s still a regular gameplay aspect to the sessions.

Almost 100 teams play each week across each division at BSSC at two venues.

It’s a super well organized league that I highly recommend.
